The Australian Passionfruit Industry Association (APIA) is the Peak Industry Body and represents Growers, Nurserymen, Processors and other industry participants. The aims of APIA are simply to foster and promote the industry by implementing any measures advantageous to members.

PLEASE NOTE!
ALL CHEQUE PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE TO "AUSTRALIAN PASSIONFRUIT INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION" NOT APIA NOR ANY OTHER ABBREVIATIONS. IT MUST BE WRITTEN OUT IN FULL. Using APIA will result in the cheque being rejected by our bank and it being returned to you. This is because there are other organisations with the same acronym in Australia.

APIA Executive Committee Nomination forms for 2010-11
Nominations for the APIA executive committee are now open. Note that only APIA paid up members can nominate or be nominated and that new memberships were due from 1st July 2010. The nomination forms must be received by the APIA Secretary by close of business on Friday 13th of August, 8 days prior to the AGM on the 21st, as per section 4.1 of the APIA constitution. Please send them in early.

Annual General Meeting, Annual Levy Payer Meeting and Field Day 2010
The APIA AGM / ALPM and Field Day will be held on Saturday 21st of August at Troy and Melissa Smith’s farm located at 53 Shrapnel Road, Cooloolabin on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Lunch will be provided. see map attached...

The new marketing levy and export charge has been approved and will start to be collected from 1 July 2010.
